We’re on the road again !!!  First stop a trip to the Riverland – Loxton SA to visit my pregnant niece as we won’t be back before she has her baby.  We decided to stay at the Big 4 Loxton Caravan Park, which is a great little park to base yourself and explore the area.  Best of all this is a park that is very quiet, with large site and within walking distance of the town centre.  The caravan park is right on the river and there is a great lookout  – Heaven Clifftop Viewpoint that is just above the caravan park.  This has the most fantastic views of the river and even better on sunset!!  The walk into the town from the caravan park is along the riverbank and under those big gumtrees, a very relaxing and easy walk.  The town of Loxton itself is a very neat and tidy town and has everything you need.  The bakery in the Main Street has great coffee and the most beautiful cakes and pastries – YUM!!

We also spent an afternoon exploring the Loxton Pioneer Village on the riverfront, this is a great place to spend a few hours looking at our past history.  Well worth the visit.

There is also a great playground near the Main Street that provided a few hours of entertainment for my cousins children to enjoy !!!  We also had dinner at the Loxton Hotel which puts on a really fantastic meal.  All in all Loxton is a great place to visit and spend a few days.

We are now on our way to WA through NT to start our adventures of WA !!!
